STATEMENT OF UPCOMING CHANGES TO OUR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT

As you may or may not know I have been operating two Facebook pages that tie into my Pinterest project.  But what all of you don't know is that for some time now I've have been deliberating on whether or not this was the right choice when I set up this account. 

You see the original idea was to have our "StarWars Boards" Facebook page for general Star Wars and Pinterest related items and have a separate Facebook page called "The Unofficial Star Wars Pinterest Page" in which we would publish an up to date project log that details all the changes that this project undertakes.  This has caused several problems, one of which is that I don't have time to run all of this stuff.  On our main Facebook page (StarWars Boards) where I have hundreds of subscribers I am not providing those users with enough regular content.  Meanwhile on the "The Unofficial Star Wars Pinterest Page" Facebook page, after repeatedly informing our friends that that page exists and inviting everybody we could to Like the page we have found that users are just not able to find the page.  So it turns out that I am supplying all our Facebook users with regular updates and images but no-one is able to see them.

So to solve this problem and to make life a little easier for me I have decided to archive every update that I have ever made on "The Unofficial Star Wars Pinterest Page" Facebook page here on the projects new blog, where I will also continue to add all the updates and "Pinned Images of the Day" as and when they happen. 

Also I will from tomorrow onwards I will also begin posting the information I have been posting on "The Unofficial Star Wars Pinterest Page" Facebook page on our main "StarWars Boards" Facebook page instead.

In about a weeks time I will remove "The Unofficial Star Wars Pinterest Page" Facebook page for good.  Remember you will always be able to see this content by visiting either the "Changelog" or "Pinned Image of the Day" pages here on this site. 

For anyone who doesn't know what "The Unofficial Star Wars Pinterest Page" Facebook page is and would like to visit it before it is gone forever is welcome to do so by visiting http://www.facebook.com/starwarsboards

I hope the reason for this change makes sense to everybody and I hope you continue to enjoy the project.
